    or

    Thinly sliced lox
    thinly sliced bermuda onion
    thick-sliced Marietta tomatoes

I would love to hear your recipe for the veggie burger. It never occurred to me to make my own, lol!
Love em with avocado, red onions and a fat slab of sharp cheddar! On dark rye or sourdough toasted.

I grew up in Canada and we always put lots of sweet relish on our burgers. But Americans including my husband think it's really gross.

HAve you ever tried smoked gouda on it??? OMG - I just tried it on my burger for the first time last night. I usually don't have cheese on it, but it rocked!

(Havarti and regular gouda are nice too)

I don't like either mayo or ketchup or burgers. Too mushy and sloppy. Just a little hot mustard or Dijon, maybe some sharp cheese and definitely onions and lettuce. Yum.

I grill my burgers (I ususally put the "diamond grill marks on each side). I usually put ketchup and dijon mustard on it with some lettuce, I rarely put chesse on it. I use whole wheat sesame buns and I always toast them too.

    Is that really beef?
I like grilled with red onion, mustard, mayo, cheese, ketchup and pickles. There are so many ways to eat a burger, I would probably eat just about any kind.

And btw, sweet relish is nasty. I like dill relish. Should we start a thread on how we eat hot dogs?
