So I went to whole foods and got some of the herbes de Provence Bellavitano. This thread is the debbil!

Bonus: since my kid was squealing, "cheese!" over and over at the cheese counter, we scored some free samples of Gouda from the sympathetic cheese man.

I love putting Boursin mushrooms, a little bit in the oven and voila.

Telll him to put the camembert 10 seconds in the microwave and it is straight to heaven.

Another one of my fav cheese dishes: burrata and tomato: I just chop the tomatoes small, mix garlic and onion and basil cut the burrata, put good olive oil on it and mix it all together. love it on a sandwich

Camembert is my fav, I put it in the microwave and then use it as a dip with some grilled bread slices. I could eat that every day.I ran out of camembert and yesterday I ate it with Babybel which wasn't the same but i still liked it
Smoked scamorza, especially with pasta and beans soup. I sliced it in there and let it melt
Boursin with pepper on a salmon bagel.
I had some President Camembert with green peppercorns from my local polish shop, it was lovely.

Okay, this is "later". Thank you, Greys. She absolutely loved it. I told her it was your idea and she said to express her appreciation. We drank that whole bottle of wine, by the way, and it's not even 4:30 yet.

He is, I'll have to deploy him strategically for maximum cheese profit! Next week, I'll teach him to say "Bellavitano." It was pretty good btw, reminded me of a good parmesan.

I am late to this thread, and cheese! Printing out the entire thread for the recs! My husband doesn’t like cheese unless it is cooked. I can’t figure out why. 22 years, and he still isn’t on the cheese board train with me, but doesn’t blink an eye when I shop and come home with varieties I want to try. There are compromises — have a great recipe for smoked Gouda cheese grits with shrimp and spinach from a chef in Pensacola, FL, and I don’t like shrimp, so give him my shrimp and he likes the Gouda grits. It’s the strangest thing. But really, I guess. Maybe it is a texture thing. I like raw mushrooms but not cooked. Love tomatoes in all forms except cold tomato juice.

Put a cheese board in front of me, and I don’t care what you want to talk about. I’ll pretend to listen to you all night while savoring the cheese.

Is this like rose petals? Did you just leave a trail of cheese leading to the bedroom?
