    Default What's for dinner tonight?

I'm thinking of making chicken curry (Japanese curry, it's actually very mild compared to Indian, Chinese and Thai curries) tonight.
My hubby hates curry so I think I'll be eating that by myself. He has an evening shift so he won't be eating dinner with me anyways.
And I'll prolly have some green salad.

    How about you?

Ah, darlin'. You deserve better than Coors.

A veggie raclette -- potatoes, cauliflower, leeks, garlic, celery, Jerusalem artichokes -- with a nice salad, all washed down with a vintage Italian Pinot Grigio. My husband decided I needed cheering up. I cook, he buys the wine.

Lunch leftovers: Caeser salad, chicken wings and carrot cake. Last night, I had peanut M&Ms and grapefruit juice.

I haven't cooked all week except for veggie chili, so I'm splashing out tonight. Tomorrow I'm making a fresh Dungeness crab salad, guacomole, plus leftovers from tonight for my youngest step-daughter. She doesn't have much happiness in her life right now -- abusive partner -- so I want her to have some fun.

Nice woman! Can I ask a question without getting too personal? Do you have freckles on your thighs?

Wow PB you really go all out.
Are you cooking the crab salad from scratch? It's so tedious to get the meat out of the crab but I still love it.
    mmm yum.

No freckles, and no, I bought the crab chunks, or rather Simon did as a treat for me. It's in season now and I decided I wanted some.

Ever since my brother died, I have this inclination to not wait for things but to just do them. You just never know....

It probably is. I read your sort of recipe ages ago! Plus, we import things here but I found some great organic avocados, so I'll see tomorrow.

Oh, so would you say your thighs are alabaster or tanned or bisque?

Hmmm....I think they're still slightly tanned, although in the rainforest here we haven't seen the sun since August.

I hear it will clear up in the p.m. Then my step-daughter and her incredibly adorable 3-year-old and I will go to the park at the beach.
