I've been eating a lot of salad lately and I'm trying not to get sick of it by changing it up. Let's share our ideas on what we do with a boring green salad.
raisins, craisins, apricots (I was reading the nutritional info and I was surprised to find that apricots had more iron than raisins)
I've just bought some dried blue berries, can't wait to try these on a salad.
Nuts and seeds
I like topping salad with sun flower seeds.
Almond slices are another fave of mine.
mandarine oranges, pineapple chunks
Salmon fillet, chicken fillet, tuna,
boiled eggs sliced
I love cherry tomatoes.
brocolis, cauliflowers, chopped green onions
