Default Food Network - who do you like to watch?

I've been watching a lot of food tv as of late and I really like Jamie Olivier's new show 'Jamie at Home' and Ingrid Hoffman on 'Simply Delicioso' and for fun I like to watch 'Ace of Cakes'.

    What are you watching?

On a side note anyone know of a good Vietnamese cookbook with a lot soups and spring rolls?

I like Paula Deen. I know her stuff is fattening but I think she knows what she's doing.

Oh come on Sweetie what makes you think her food is fattening? It couldn't be the 4 sticks of butter she melts over her veggies. I also like her, she is very entertaining.

Ou I watch her too sometimes - she's has some energy but I can't eat most of what she cooks I'd be walking house.

    Ouu I like them too.

Did Giada always have those big boobies? I never noticed them before and all of a sudden she's got cleavage hanging out on every show.

You know who has some good stuff too is Ellie Krieger - healthy but good easy meals that won't go to your bum.

I LOVE Alton, Giada, and Paula, but have only cooked one thing off Paula's show-and it was for a bake sale. I couldn't eat any of it, WAY too fattening. The cookies I made for the bake sale were a huge hit though, they were the only item that sold out.

Giada's always had those boobs on display, they may be bigger now b/c she's pregnant, but she's always had them hanging out. It's one of the things people hate about her (along with the over-emphasized italian pronunciation on only some of her words).

Yeah, I've never liked that myself - it's like you're trying too hard.

But I like her recipes and the show so I can over look it.

I love Giada too, she still has good recipes. I just kind of laugh about the crazy pronunciation and still watch, it doesn't grate on me or anything.

    Rachel Ray!! Just kidding.

I adore that English chick with the lovely dark hair and big bosom. I think she's all kindsa sexy and the fact that she can look that good AND cook up a storm just makes me love her all the more.

I really enjoy Giada, there's just something very relaxing about her show - whether it's her voice, mannerisms, or just the lighting/shots/directing, I'm not sure, but I do like it. I like the Barefoot Contessa for the same reason, though to a lesser extent.

All of Nigella's shows, Jamie At Home, Tyler's Ultimate, Hell's Kitchen, Top Chef, Barefoot Contessa, Eat Shrink & Be Merry, Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, Iron Chef America [when Booby Flay isn't on ... can't stand that guy], the original Iron Chef, Fixing Dinner.

Occasionally, I'll watch Chef At Home. I like Michael Smith, but I don't care too much for his food.

    Nigella?

I have a few of her books - she is something but I haven't seen her on tv for a while.

Michael Chiarello is pretty good too - he's flat but his recipes are really quite good.

Yeah, Nigella! Forgot her name, duh.

Chef At Home annoys me. I think it's the way he overemphasizes everything.

Has anyone ever watched or heard of The Thirsty Traveler? My husband worked on that show!
