Just finished making it, the old fashioned way, and my kitchen is a disaster! Grated cabbage sauted in butter with onion, and handmade drop noodles. This is the first time the dumplings came out right for me, finally, at 45.

That looks fantastic, ultimate comfort food. And congrats on the dumplings -- I haven't made them successfully yet. They're hard to get right.

Yeah, the dumplings are difficult, they either end up too hard, too soft, not salty enough, etc., but this time I got it right! (..doesn't mean it will happen again though)Quote:
