Default What can I do with tofu?

I like tofu, as boring as that sounds but am limited on what I can do with it. Mainly because I am a bad cook.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Try this: Open can of black eyed peas. cut tofu in cubes. Add to peas.
Pour one can of rotel over & heat throughly! Doubles easily-you can add more kinds of peas, beans-whatever your favorites are. Also add one dash of Cavenders Greek seasoning per item. Stir around well. I would serve with hot cornbread over brown rice.

I eat loads of Tofu, love the stuff.

I use it how most people would use meat, I'll put it in with veg. in a curry sauce, usually red or green curry. Or even in satay peanut sauce, just cubed and seared in the pan over noodles. I crumble it up finely in fried rice.

Sometimes for breakfast, I'll scramble it up with some spring onions, salt and pepper and some grated cheese on top and have it on toast.

I love the smoked Tofu, you can buy in packets in the supermarket, chuck some of that on a salad and ...yummmers! good stuff.

Ooh marinaded Tofu is good too. Try a mixture of 1/3 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/2 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic, and 2 cups water. Let sit in this mixture for a couple of hours *or* bring marinade to a boil and simmer tofu in it for about 20 minutes. Cut in thick slices this is very yum on a sandwich.

    tofu surprise:
4 oz tofu, lettuce, raw veggies (tomatoes, cucumbers..etc), cup of boiled vegetables (broccoli, zucchini...etc), cheese of choice (lowfat goat cheese, laughing cow, light swiss), 1/4th cup beans of choice, hummus. just mix it up, add balsamic vinegar or a little bit of olive oil.

I think it is tinned tomatoes, but I am not completely sure.
A big boy did it and ran away.

I love tofu pan-fried in sesame oil and soy saucue with sprouts and veggies, although I realize that is the least healthy way to prepare it. Otherwise i'm not much of a fan.

The can says RO*TEL -10 oz. Diced tomatoes and green chilies. It comes in mild, regular or hot. If you are not used to it, go with mild. We use in in all sorts of soups, stews, dips. If you ask you supermarket manager they should order it for you. So good!!l
The dip we all love: 1 can Rotel mixed with 16oz melted cheese. Serve hot or warm. With Dorito chips. Or pita!
