Law student demands chocolate for LIFE after getting eight KitKats with no wafer

A furious woman is demanding a lifetime supply of chocolate under threat of legal action - after getting eight KitKats with no WAFER.

Saima Ahmad was so enraged that she wrote a strongly worded letter to manufacturer Nestle explaining her disappointment and even quoted case law from the 1930s to back up her case.

The 20-year-old law student from Enfield, north London, bought a multipack of eight KitKats from her local supermarket for £2 last month to share with her friends.

Saima, a second year law student at Kings College London, feels misled by the company and believes that they have ignored their duty of care to consumers.

The massive complainer said: "They go about advertising the unique concept of KitKat, but I'm so disappointed by what I have purchased.

"I'm hoping they will apologise to me and in future focus more on quality of their product.

"No one else in that industry has that unique concept about mixing the wafer with the chocolate and that's why I'm a fan."

Chocoholic Saima is even threatening to take legal action and sue the confectioner unless they give in to her demand.

She said: "I wouldn't rule out taking this further if Nestle do not apologise or compensate me adequately.

"As I mentioned in my letter of complaint, an unlimited supply of KitKat would do."

Before she wrote her letter the student did her research and found that others had complained of similar experiences in online forums.

Saima said: "Nestle have a huge following and I don't think these mistakes are acceptable.

"I have researched this problem and I found that it wasn't just a one off and it has happened quite a few times.

"There are quite a few forums online where people complain of having KitKats without wafer.

"They should definitely give in to me, I'm hoping my demand will go higher than the customer service platform.

"I'd like the CEO of Nestle to respond to my letter because it's an extremely important issue.

"I'm trying my luck, if you don't ask you don't get."

If granted her wish of a lifetime supply, Saima doesn't think she's likely to become sick of her favourite chocolate bar.

She added: "I think I would eat my life-time supply of Kit Kats in intervals so I didn't get sick of it.

"They are my favourite chocolate bar, I love them."

In her letter to Nestle Saima said: "The truth of the matter is; manufacturers owe a duty of care to consumers.

"The specific duty you owe in consistency in your manufacturing process.

"The failure to take due care in the manufacturing process resulted in a product being defective.

"As a result I feel as though I have been misled to part with my money and purchase a product that is clearly different from what has been marketed by Nestle.

"The loss I have suffered is of monetary and emotional significance.

"I would like a full refund of the defective pack of KitKat I purchased.

"I have also lost my faith in Nestle.

"Clearly, if I wanted to purchase a confectionery item that is purely chocolate, I would have purchased a bar of Galaxy.

"I would therefore like to request a life-long supply of KitKat so that I can act as a means of quality control - it appears you need me more than I need you."

Nestle have been approached for a comment.

She's a law student and thinks that, in part, her emotional suffering from receiving a defective CANDYBAR is worth 60+ years worth of free chocolate bars? Really?

And now I'm craving a Kit Kat.

And the man on the Clapham omnibus says that a replacement packet, with wafers, is all that is required.

Kit Kat changed the wafer to chocolate ratio a couple of years ago and they suck now. I used to love them. Maybe they have just phased out the wafer entirely. Bastards.

I don't think she quite understands the concept of "duty of care".

I'm completely outraged. Free chocolate for life? She deserves at least $10 million for her suffering! This incident will haunt her for the rest of her life, poor soul. I demand a boycott of Nestle until this women gets justice.

^Or a lifetime of free lattes and a Calvin Klein underwear ad, at the very least.

That's strange since the cost of chocolate has gone up recently. You would think they would cut back on the chocolate and make the wafer bigger.

I gave up chocolate in November but the two events are NOT linked.

So much so-called chocolate is not actually chocolate these days; you read the label and it will say "milk chocolate flavored", which is less expensive than real milk chocolate...

If Kit Kat is her favorite chocolate bar, clearly she has no taste. Good luck to her. I think she only deserves a refund. Suck it up, buttercup.

I never liked these things, you could tell they weren't real chocolate. We got them in our Christmas stockings every year.
