What's your signature dish?
I have a few, but one of the things I often do for parties is to bake a whole wild Pacific salmon with my special spicy marinade. I've had guests tell me they've come just to eat, even if they were already busy.

I am famous with my family and children's friends for my cookies. All kinds. Spritzers, Pumpkins, Sugar, and cut out cookies.

Re: What's your signature dish?
Mine is simple, but good: Chicken quesadillas - although I cheat at it. I have a quesadilla maker which is a HUGE help after they've been put together. Always asked for & rarely anything left. Although hubby makes certain to leave a few pieces for work the next day.

I make a mean honey mustard and rosemary pork roast. I never have any leftovers.

Re: What's your signature dish?
Not too sure if I have a signature dish...cuz I kinda go through phases. Some of the dishes that I could be proud of were Sukiyaki and Nikujyaga (these are both Japanese dishes).
Right now I'd say I'm good at making chirashizushi...I mentioned this in the what's for dinner thread. I'll go dig up the pic I posted.

Re: What's your signature dish?
I can't really cook. My mom's a selfish, mean kitchen genius who won't teach with the excuse that "she doesn't like people around her stove when she's at it". I did, however, manage to become a master at making crepes. I usually fill them with cheese and tomato sauce (good and easy). The last I tried out was improvising with what my friend and managed to find: I ended up making strawberry/chocolate sauce (I don't remember how I made it, but it turned out fabulous) filling as well as banana/sugar/cinammon. I made a lot, but they were so effin good we ate them all up and didn't leave any for her husband to take to work the next day.

Re: What's your signature dish?
Everyone is nuts about my lasagne. My husband is always bragging to people about it , and has tried but can't seem to duplicate it. Hmmmm, maybe I'll make that tomorrow...

Coq Au Vin, Chocolate Truffles and Chocolate Mocha Mousse.
I brought the truffles to a Christmas party and saw a guy actually putting a few in his pocket. Gross but flattering.

Not really a dish, butI make homemade salsa. So anytime people ask to come over, they ask if I have any salsa.

My peach chutney is like that. I guard it like gold and only give jars to people I really like.

I'm working on the homemade salsa too. This is only my second year of it, but so far so good. Once I get a little better at it, I may start springing it out at dinner gatherings.
