    Default Wines you like?

I have a really hard time finding wines I like, lately. My tastes have changed a bit and my old staples don't really appeal to me any more. I also hate putting myself at the mercy of Wine Guys, because I don't have a regular one and I've found they are often smarmy or condescending.

So what are your favorite wines? White? Red? I would like a list of things to try

i'm a total cheap date. i am perfectly happy with $5/bottle barefoot but i do enjoy a wide price range. i prefer sweet whites but i'm getting myself more into reds.

barefoot moscato ($5), chateau st. michelle reisling ($10-15), kendall jackson summation ($12) and laetitia pinot noir ($25) are my current go-tos.

In terms of white wine, I like the sweeter flavours like pinot grigio and reisling. I'm a fan of Barefoot Pinot Grigio and I love Relax Reisling and Fun5 Reisling. With reds, I like merlot and my current favorite is Yellow Tail merlot.

I like the Bella Sera merlot. I'm not a yellowtail fan. The barefoot is pretty nice.

I like almost any type of sweet riesling, we buy an organic one from a local market, and Trader Joe's has a few too (sweet and dry). You can't miss with the Barefoot brand ^ even their white zinfandel is good.

I like bold reds such as La Fiole du Pape (Côtes du Rhône) and Italian Ripassos. I'm not keen on whites.

I agree with Barefoot for "cheaper" wine. My favorite $20 bottle is Louis Martini Cabernet. Paul Newman actually makes a decent Cabernet and I never get hungover off of it. Zinfandel is my favorite and I'll drink anything in the $12 - $20 range. I just can't see paying anything more for a bottle seeing as it doesn't last long.

When I lived in Kirkland WA, I got to go to wine tastings a few times at all these awesome wineries in the next town. This was my favorite of all. I'm not big time into wine like my step sis and her friends. They actually took classes at the college about wine.
This is a nice dry red with a bold flavor that doesn't make me cringe, lol. I loved this stuff. It's really wonderful.

Meryl doesn't even try anymore. She just calls Lanvin and asks for curtains with a belt.~Bitter
Can we interest you in Leann Rimes? She has a nice little cadre of fans you'd probably enjoy.~ Pecan Pie

I only drink white and prefer semillon or sav blanc or a blend. I tend to go for wines from Margaret River in Western Australia or Marlborough New Zealand although I had a yummy Brown Bros sav blanc which I think is Victorian.

For everyday wine, can't really go wrong with a côtes-du-rhône red in the 12-13 dollar range. I like white too, preferably nothing too sweet. I love a good Chardonnay, there are a few Chileans I like and can't go wrong with Chablis. Those would be my everyday choices but I also love a good Riesling or a Pinot Gris.

Adore a good, expensive Montrachet. A current new favorite is Moscato - I like sweeter wines and this fits nicely.

I've actually been drinking Barrymore Pinot Grigio. That's currently the only wine I'm purchasing.... and it's about $25.00 a bottle - AT TARGET! Really need to check with Specs.
