Smile For burger lovers: What do you like to put on it?

For those who do eat beef OR soy/veggie versions - how do you like your burgers?

I like ground 85% lean sirloin, char-grilled to medium/med-well, with mayo, onion and a dot of ketchup. On a sesame seed bun. I don't eat beef any other way except ground into a hamburger.

mmmmmmmburgers!

I never knew ketchup was asian , intersting
For burgers I use ground sirloin and I add salt pepper , grill seasoning and fresh garlic to the beef , then I grill it to medium well ,I sometimes have different types of burgers , like Tex Mex or italian flavors , it depends on my mood

I like Yves Good Burger and Boca Roasted Onion veggie burgers with good old ketchup and mustard. Occasionally, I'll get fancy and put some sweet relish or corn relish on too.

I have to have a toasted bun, preferably sesame, with mustard on one side and mayonnaise on the other. I like cheddar cheese, onions, a few dill pickle slices, lettuce and one slice of tomato. If I am living dangerously I will have a rare burger, other wise medium.

my own home made vegie burger grilled on half a wholemeal muffin spread with some dijon or chili sauce with beetroot, spinach, afalfa sprouts, tomato, and grilled capsicum and mushroom.

Open-faced because I cant handle that much bread in one hit.

Funny, I often take the bottom bun off, especially when I doubt the freshness of the bread. Someone mentioned char-grilled burgers. I HATE burgers this way but love chicken, sausages and steaks char-grilled.

I also make my own black bean burgers---very easy to make! I only eat veggie or black bean burgers myself.

On top: ALWAYS mustard, dill pickles. When available salsa, banana rings, jalapenos, various cheeses, tomato, spinach.

Sirloin, rare, raw or sauteed onions, ketchup or dijon mustard, bun only on bottom, eaten with knife and fork.

Maybe pickle slices.

Leanest beef, preferably chargrilled, but after that, almost anything is game:

Cheese
Ketchup
Mayo
Mustard
Onions (sometimes I leave them off if I'm gonna get lucky ;P )
Lettuce
Tomato
LOTS OF BLACK PEPPER

And then I cut it in half or quarters to make it easier to eat. And a beer to wash it down with.

How American am I? I'm kind of ashamed now, it sounds so gluttonous. *counts down to heart attack*

First, you gotta decide what goes IN the burger!

1) Lean ground beef

2) a few eggs

3) HP sauce/BBQ sauce/RIb Sauce

4) finely chopped onions (like, really fine) or onion powder

5) a little garlic powder

6) some herbs

7) chili flakes

8) finely chopped bread to hold it all together

Make big thick patties, slow cook them on the BBQ (don't squish them down, it'll flare and you'll waste all the juice) till theyre still a tiny bit dirty pink inside

Voila.

I hardly ever eat them but I had one the other day with Swiss cheese, hot mustard, red onion, lettuce, a pickle and one tomato (otherwise it gets too mushy.) Also, I like my buns toasted -- I hate doughy bread.

Sometimes I leave out the pickle and tomato and eat only half the bun.

Some veggie soy burger, with sesame bun, a little light mayo or ketchup, english mustard, pickled cucumber slices, cheese, or a little mayo and sweet chili sauce. I usually have a burger with a *huge* salad. Because obviously stuffing myself with salad afterwards makes it so much healthier

toasted bun, sesame ideally, and i usually eat them open-faced too.
i like the meat rare, or bloody, and char-grilled.
tomato, lettuce (romaine, hate that iceberg crap), red onion, pickle, mustard, ketchup
and not always but i also like cheese occasionally, but it has to be good cheese not those processed sliced things that taste like plastic. a nice thin slice of tangy white cheddar is ideal
