    Default What's your favourite cheese?

OK - there's lots of cheese tragics here.

If you could only have 2 types of cheese ever again, what would they be?

This is very hard, but my choice would be - A really good, mature, crumbly, traditional English cheddar and a just-about-to-walk-off-the-plate French UNPASTEURISED camembert.

I could name at least a dozen more I love, but those two would be my top picks for versatility and flavour.

I really like that garlic soft cheese roulade. Mmm, but I couldn't eat that forever as my breath would honk. I agree with you on the cheddar - it's a British institution. But then I'm also partial to Brie., I just can't eat the white stuff on the edges, it makes me gag.

I'm not much of a cheese lover. I had a horrendous experience with food poisoning caused by melted and re-heated cheese and it completely put me off!

Don't mind Edam but couldn't name a single cheese really. I wouldn't know the difference. I just eat whatever is on the cheese tray!

A sharp cheddar, fresh mozzarella, pepper jack, large curd cottage cheese...it changes. I also buy imported cheeses at a local cheese market-diffferent types of herbed cheese usually.

Yeah, I'm a fair dinkum Aussie now but you know what they say, you can take the girl out of England...............
What could be better than a pub ploughmans lunch with great cheddar, a huge chunk of white cottage loaf bread and lots of butter, Branston and a couple of juicy pickled onions with a pint of bitter??? God, I'm getting all nostalgic now.

For me, it would be Gorgonzola and Vacherin Fribourgeois (my native region's cheese, the one that makes the best fondue)
    Nope.

For Americans there's a specific type of cheese called swiss, it's the kind with holes in it and is a very "acquired" taste. I used to thate it when I was younger. This is what our swiss cheese looks like:

I'm boring, I like a good mozzarella or brie cheese.
