Eat plenty of fish -- fish oil helps prevent headaches.
So does ginger, which reduces inflammation and pain.
(Stay away from a lot of bottom feeding fish that are high in mercury content)

HAY FEVER? EAT YOGURT!
Eat lots of yogurt before pollen season.
Also-eat honey from your area (local region) daily.

LUNG CANCER? EAT DARK GREEN AND ORANGE AND VEGGIES!!!
A good antidote is beta carotene, a form of Vitamin A found in dark green and orange vegetables.

The chromium in broccoli and peanuts helps regulate insulin and blood sugar.

That's a great list. I have the book Nutritional Healing and they list a lot of the same things. Why is cabbage so good for you? I mean, I like cabbage rolls and coleslaw but other than that...ewww. I had no idea it evened out estrogen levels.

I like to steam cabbage with a little butter and some beef broth, it's very tasty that way.

Insomnia a good thing is honey on brown bread. They help even each other out, I think it's because the hone y is soothing, and the brown bread helps to even out the sugar level, by being low glycaemic and so not causing you to wake in an hour when your blood sugar level suddenly drops.

I've got a book tht lists a lot of things like this, although I'd be wary of any list that starts making claims with regards to cancer

They also didn't mention much the powers of peppers for a variety of things. My greatgranny on the bayou used to make us drink hot water with either tabasco sauce or black pepper in it for diarrhea and it worked every time. Hot peppers can kill a variety of stomach ailments from nausea to diarrhea, if you can choke them down.

I also up the pepper and hot stuff intake anytime I get a cold or virus. The peppers and garlic boosts your immune system as well as unstuffs you.
