    Default Xylitol instead of sugar

    Hi Guys,

I just bought this natural sugar substitute. We know how toxic the artificial sweetners are including Splenda so this is a perfect choice. It's very close to sugar, but doesn't raise your blood sugar level. Tastes great.

    Here's the website:

Even the slightest bit gives me the runs. It's not for everyone.

It's a natural occuring thing inside plants such as raspberries (and some other things like birch), it's just got a weird ugly name. it's a sugar alcohol which means it has less than half the calories of sugar (sucrose). so it's not so much a sugar substitute as it is another form of sugar.

it's been shown to fight cavities, as well as some other mouth bacteria, and has been shown to prevent osteoperosis

Did you know that the list of nasty things artifical sweetners cause is much longer and nastier than that? Safer to limit your sugar intake and avoid all artifical sweetners than to trade one poison for another.
