Default Your Favorite Restaurant Chains That Have Closed

Mine would be BBF-a local chain from my childhood.

Was short for ...get this..Burger Boy Food-o-rama!!

The restaurants had a spinning satellite on top..

..and they had a jingle that went something like..

Everybody's going to the BBF, and they're bringing their appetite/
Everybody's going to the BBF, at the whirling satellite

What chains of restaurants/fast food/etc other eateries do you miss that are gone now?

There was a chain of restaurants in this area called Mozzeralla's (had the usual Ruby Tuesday type crap) and it had the BEST black bean burger....mmmmm so good.

when i was a kid and we'd drive cross country, they used to have Stuckey's.
Sure, they had basic crappy diner food, but it was great stuff to me, as a kid.

    Plus kick ass souvenir crap

When I was growing up and my mom would take me shopping, we'd always eat in a Morrison's Cafeteria. I felt so grown up when we'd go in there and go through the line and Mom would let me choose whatever I wanted.

I haven't thought about that in forever.

When I was a kid we used to go to Little Tavern for burgers. They were kind of the Baltimore version of White Castle. I think they're all gone now.

Oh, yeah! I remember eating there and as a treat getting pecan logs or tarts as a treat. I also miss Saunder's. I think it might have only been in Michigan. I remember going with my mom to the lunch counter. They would give you water in paper cones that were inserted into a metal holder. I would always get a tuna sandwich, Vernor's ginger ale, and a hot chocolate cream puff for dessert. I loved spending time with my mother shopping and 'lunching'!

A&W Root Beer Stands. (not the restaurants)

Also, I'm probably the only person in the world who actually liked Kenny Rogers' Roasters.

Is Stuckey's really no more? I have fond memories of those little pecan pies while driving down to Florida as a kid.

Loved Stucky's at we traveled south and loved Kenny Roger's Roasters. I was sad when they closed the one location we had in the area. I just looked them up and was surprised to see they are still in business and are international.
