Oh to be able to afford a pair of Louys. I would LOVE to, but alas...I can't spend that kind of money right now. Maybe someday, when I'm rich, ha ha.

Typically, it really varies. I've paid over $200, but that was before the land of bills.

    I'm too embarrassed to say

but I have no kids, so I have the ability to spend my income on myself

I saved up and paid close to $75 dollars for these babies last night online... I'm a big proponent of using online promo codes and it saved me 25% on these..

    ooh i like those!
i love promo codes. i've gotten some pretty sweet deals on purses with them. bluefly gives you promo codes if you answer their customer satisfaction survey, and you also get a promo code with every purchase, it can really add up.

Honestly, I spend about $15 on my shoes. So, I would have to really love a pair of shoes to spend more than $20. However, if I found the perfect leopard print heel I would consider spending up to $100 on it.

I buy all my shoes at Ross Dress For Less. They have a good assortment of Nine West and Steve Madden (along with a few other department store brands). I just love that they are almost always $14.99.

I've spent anywhere from $500 to $4 on shoes and boots. I always buy leather shoes and purses. It's a false economy to buy either one of those items on the cheap. If you take care of them, they last a long time. I still have shoes and purses from 15 years ago that have come back into style.

I've bought some cool shoes in consignment stores as well. I spent the $500 on a pair of boots in Paris about 10 years ago and I still get compliments on them whenever I wear them. Classic styles never go out of fashion.

I have an amazing pair of Fluvogs my dh bought me for my birthday this year. I don't know how much they cost, but they are the most comfortable heels ever.

The most I personally have spent on shoes is $80. It was for a pair of slip-on Vans that I fell in love with, and continue to glue together when they start pulling apart.

Depends on the shoes. I bought a perfect pair of Bally boots once that cost almost a month's salary [gulp]. Yes it was crazy extravagance BUT 10 years later I still wear them and they still look fabbo. If you go for classics that don't date I think the occasional splurge on the perfect pair of shoes is justified. Or at least that's what I tell myself.

^^And I bet you feel good when you wear them. Can't put a price on that.
