    Forest green.

    Navy blue.

    Burgundy.

His eyes look a little green in that photo.....?
His eyes are really blue, but a little green around the pupil. Thanks Novice, I see burgundy's a fave

Burgundy might be a bit "safe" tho, I like effie's idea of mixed colours...

A slate grey would be good on him too, bring our his eyes more.

    Lucky Girl, he's yummy!

I have his coloring and disagree with the burgandy choice. Burgandy is a nice masculine color but is a potentially overwhelming shade for someone with more delicate coloring.

I agree with the posters who've suggested softer colors. Medium-saturation colors (not fully pastel, although that would work, and not "jewel" tones) would be good, with some gray undertones to offset any redness in his skin. The slate gray suggestion was nice. A grayish-green could be good. A heathery yarn would work.

Redness in skin = another reason not to do burgandy.

Burgandy looks great on my husband, btw, but he has black hair and dark brown eyes and no ruddiness.

She said pinkish undertones-a far cry from ruddy! Burgandy to claret.

If you can't delete it, email the mods & get them to do it. I'm looking forward to knowing what you do choose.

He would look great in hunter green too.

    or Burgundy

I'm dirty blonde with green eyes and these colors make me more vibrant.

OK, so I eventually went with a safe choice... I bought him a brown merino wool Fred Perry pullover with a blue logo... He really liked it. And I see he's becoming more adventurous: he went and bought a raspberry-colored pullover on his own!!!

My man is becoming dandyish... To think that I used to ask him if he didn't get dressed in the dark!!!

Thank you all for the advice
