I'm short, so I have small feet...so longer pants just go over them when I'm wearing heels. I think it would look more weird if at 5'3" I had big honkin size 10s...

and dakodas, I understand now what sort of jeans you were talking about...from what I understand there are different versions of the skinny jean now just like there are different rises of jeans. Apparently now there are slim jeans, skinny jeans and ultra skinny jeans. The ones you're referring to are apparently dubbed "Ultra skinny"

She does have some tiny, dainty feet, doesn't she? Like Barbie feet

Its slightly funny to me that we're talking about my feet now...lol I never really thought they were that small, I mean, I always thought they fit my frame...maybe its the pants that make it look that way. Same shoes, different pants...

Haggard, I'm honestly not trying to be mean, but those jeans just don't look that good on you. I think it has something to do with that design on the back pocket (too low), and I think the back pocket is too large. The combination makes your ass look bigger than it probably is in real life.

And I have those exact shoes, I think! Are they from Nine West? At any rate, my shoes are also red suede peep-toe with heels so high I can hardly walk in them!

I don't particularly like the fact that leggings are back 'in', but I have to admit, they were comfortable.

Hotncmom, I'm a little younger than you, not much, but I'm like you....I'm pretty happy with my bottom half. I hate my arms and back. I wish they were really tight and toned, but, that won't happen in my lifetime. I have pretty big legs, I think that's pretty much my best feature, so I don't mind that leggings are back in. It's not like I have chicken legs I'm trying to hide. I might buy me a pair of black leggings and wear them just for casual use with family.

I really don't like this look, I think it looks scruffy, and just a bit too fashion victim for my taste, I really don't think it flatters anyone, I adore my bootcut hipsters

Just want to say I think Haggard's tush looks fantastic in those jeans. They're meant to show off curves, as opposed to say, flares which balance out top and bottom DEemphasizing a rear end or hips. Just thought I'd stick my two cents in.

Finally got the balls to wear my skinny jeans in the last two weeks --Not that I'll ever get rid of my bootcuts or flares.

I've gone off all kinds of jeans in the last few months. I much prefer skirts and dresses. I think that if you feel a bit blobby it's easier to hide in a nice skirt.
I have experimented with the old leggings/footless tights thing, I quite like it, although I went out the other night and practically every girl there was wearing some sort of legging/skirt combo, which made me go off it a bit.

re: The tiny feet, I am jealous! I am a UK size 8 (us 10) It makes it very difficult to buy shoes as the shops only ever have about one pair in my size and they go FAST!
Still, I am tall so I suppose it stops me from falling over! I bought these bad-girls on Ebay today:

For my Halloween costume (and coz I think they are awesome)
The heel is 3 1/2 inches which will make me 6 foot 1 inch in them! he he.

I broke down and bought some black leggings (actually to wear with my Halloween costume), and to my relief, they didn't make me look atrocious or clownish. They are very comfortable. I wore them again today.
