    Why did the state need to buy clothes from the families? Couldn't they just have packed a bag from home and sent it along?

    personally, if I had to choose between these fashions and the belly baring Britney shit that many stores have available for my 7 yo, I would pick this.

    I would rather my child look like a prude than a tart.

    Yeah, but polyester?? Cotton is much more comfortable. I would prefer the wardrobe from The Little House on the Prairie. Those were cute.

    I love how the boys get to wear the relatively normal jeans and button down shirts and the girls have to wear these hideous potato sacks from the 1800's.

    Even Holly Hobbie-esque fashions would be better.


    I remember Holly Hobbie fondly: My first lunch box ever was a Holly Hobbie and I also had a Holly Hobbie ez-bake oven. I loved that shit when I was little.
