I think she dresses ok for someone in their late 20s in the political spotlight. Dressing in hot pants & boob tubes would be completely inappropriate (obviously).

She is also wearing affordable clothes at a time when a lot of the public are pushed to afford basic necessities like electricity and petrol. Conspicuous consumption right now would not be good. It's not the fucking 80s!

I was right. She is wearing designer pieces as well. She wore an Alexander McQueen white coat recently.
    pics?

I'm not surprised since that was the brand of the dress...

I like 90% of what she wears. It's not flashy, but I don't think she looks age inappropriate. Besides, she's married to the future King of England. She can hardly walk around looking like a tarted up trollop.

Ok but there is a big difference between dressing 'older' and dressing like a tart. I find Samantha Cameron (or Letizia, Princess of Asturias or Rania of Jordan,... ) way more modern dressed and still very appropriate.

True. I guess I just think of her style as more "classic" than "older." It's just a difference in personal taste.

Yeah, I agree especially when I see her in jeans/casual-wear. Nothing is jarring, nothing that can't be worn for a number of seasons, nothing that doesn't suit her. I can see that people might see that as older.

I think she dresses classic, appropriate and it's what she likes and looks good in. I'm sure she's getting plenty of advice in this area. What's the problem??

Let's not insult some of our posters who at any age wouldn't wear Kate's clothes.

As for the outfits, I like a lot of what she wears. I think it's more classic than old fart.
