This is the college student uniform, sometimes minus the newsboy cap. I have grown to hate it with a passion, but the look is still so comfy (I refuse to do the newsboy cap though). Lately when I wear my gauchos I've been trying to pair them with brighter layered tanks and a pair of wedges instead of flip flops.

i think they look nice. I have 3 pairs in different colors the fabric feels nice, when i wear them it DOES NOT look like a camel toe and my ass does not look huge. I usually wear them with heels so my legs dont look short.

I have a black dress pair that I like. They have a side tie and are very sophisticated. Mine are longer than average and I usually wear them with boots.

I think they are much better than palazzo pants, which flatter no one IMO. But I'm not rushing out to buy another pair.

Aren't palazzo pants just designer's new name for what we all know as "mom jeans"? No way in hell am I wearing tapered high waist pants, I don't care what they call them.

Uh, no. Palazzo pants are very airy and wide.

Pic please? I could've sworn I saw someone refer to some high-waisted tapered leg jeans as palazzo pants when a picture of Kate Moss wearing them appeared.

Exactly. We all wore them in the 70s. And as someone wise said, anything you wore the first time it was popular should never be worn again when they come back into fashion
