Nothing with too much fabric because you'll be layered under a poly gown (I assume) with the hood thing that strangles you and all them betches get really hot.
Yes! I remember sweltering in the summer sun. I had put so much effort in my hair and makeup I was disappointed that I looked like a sweaty mess at the end. So, wear something light.

Yes.. the length is an issue as well, I'm only 5' 2" so anything that looks short probably hits me close or at my knees. The only bad part about the nautical dress is that it would ship from the UK so I'm not sure if it would get here in time. I found some more options:

I just really really really like lace but the long sleeves might drive me insane

Honeymoon Lace Dress in Gray - $45.00 : ThreadSence.com, Your Spot For Indie Clothing & Indie Urban Culture

And I know animal print is super big and passe now but I think the cut of this dress makes it look classy and not trashy:

ASOS | ASOS Skater Dress with Animal Print at ASOS.

A Wear | A|Wear Dip Dye Ditsy Off Shoulder Dress at ASOS..

Lipsy | Lipsy Lace Tiered 3/4 Sleeve Chiffon Dress at ASOS..

I'm soo sick of looking at sites because I don't even know what look I'm going for. It's at noon so I don't want to be too dressy and hot but I also don't want to show up like a total slob.. but at this point I just want to be commando under my gown. Suggestions? I don't do sleeveless because I hate my upper arms and my hips are pretty wide, so I lean more towards empire/fitted waist dresses or just flowy ones. I haven't even given any thought to accessories.

Yes.. that's the one I liked the best out of the ones I posted. I just don't know if I'll look stupid and if it'll be too long.

You never look stupid and I think the length will be just right on you, it's a tad short on the model

The website says that particular model is 5' 10" so I think it might hit right above or at my knees. But the good part about having a neutral color palate is I can always change it up with shoes AND my gown colors and white and black so I think it'll be cute if my dress matches. Or maybe I hate everything I've looked at and I'm just grasping at straws. How can I be having an outfit crisis 3 weeks before the fact?

    The last one, for sure.

From that set, definitely 3 or 4 for you, imo.

Thanks, girls. I'm going to keep looking and then make a decision within a few days. Still have to look at accessories. With that last dress, I kind of want to wear something purple on my feet... or red. Something colorful.

Love, love, love the nautical dress, agree with your take on the cut of the animal print, and like the last one of the set you recently posted.

But I really love the nautical one.
