But I love a dramatic gown, too

2nd and 3rd very nice, the other two a bit lacey for me.

Default Your past or future wedding dress

Thought of a nice thread: Each one posts her wedding dress, the one she got married in or wedding dress of your dreams - One you'd want to marry in.

Add: I see there's a thread for this already.

Never dreamed about a dress. Got one that was along the lines of something to be worn to an 1920s garden party. Kids got it later for the dress up trunk.

    Autumn what about you?

I got married in a jacket & skirt (separates not a suit) by a designer called Jean Muir, still have it & its my go-to clothing when I need something smart (jacket over a cocktail length dress, the skirt with a top for a ball).

    Oh and it was black....

However I also like the idea of wearing something indian flavoured since I'm half indian. This is strapless too but the veil covers that up a bit

I also love these, but would have to be a more blue toned red

    I adore this bottom one.
My sister is getting married in may & my mother was asking if I'll get married again, if I do I'd love to wear a lehenga choli (with my belly covered! no-one wants to see that!). I wore a grey/silver one for a friend's wedding (a long time ago) and it was amazing.

Me too. This would be my choice if I'm ever insane enough to get married again.

Oh that dress is so pretty (the quoted one from Brookie), love it. I think I've shared this before, but my wedding dress was green. It's not what I would choose now, but I got married when I'd just turned 20 and wasn't ready for a big white wedding type affair, I wanted colour. It looked lovely on, the photos here don't do it justice. I bought it from a lady in - I think - Bulgaria, and she made it to my measurements so it fit beautifully. This was my dress:
