Why are boys' clothes always ruined by TV characters and other logos/crap? It used to drive me nuts. I quite like the animal motifs, especially the monkey.

I would have never put the cutesy ones on my son.

I do like the rock n' roll stuff, wish those would have been around 13 years ago!

I think they are all cute. Hard to find cute boy things. As always!

I agree with A*O--I really don't like the invasion of kids' clothes with all these licensed characters. To me it's like the baby is an advertisement in them.

I know I'm extreme on this, but I mostly don't like baby clothes that have slogans and sayings written on them. The baby can't read them, so as a parent it makes me feel like I'm making my kid into a billboard for my taste and ideas. Not that I'm offended when other people choose these clothes (unless they say something awful), just that I'm not comfortable putting that stuff on my kid. I also don't like the idea that if I take a baby out in public in those, everyone will be reading their clothes. I don't need to make my kid the center of attention like that. If people are going to be paying attention to my kid, I'd rather it be for his or her personal traits.

I especially dislike shirts that ironically comment on the baby, like the "Sleep Thief" one.

But I like some of these clothes. The ones with the animal faces and the giraffe. And the "All You Need Is Love" one looks nice, even if has writing. It's a nice sentiment, it's not big writing, and hey, it's the Beatles. Hard to go wrong there.

i also hate kids' clothes with cutesy messages on them. those things are stupid on adults and on kids.

if i had a kid, it would basically live in stripes. nothing is cuter than little kids in stripes.

    I'll take them all!

The babies of course. They're way cuter than any of the clothes.

I tried to buy my son (14) some teeshirts the other day and unless I bought a small adult size everything else in the Boys Dept was awash with Spiderman, Superman, Batman, etc or tacky pseudo-military cammo or daggers, skulls, crucifixes and other goth bollox.

I agree about stripes, they look great on all kids of all ages but unless you get the expensive French brands or designer labels like Tommy Hilfiger or Ralph Lauren Polo it's very difficult to find. Good old Marks & Spencer used to do great kids clothes but then the blight of the cartoon characters started to creep in.

I love the rock ones. I wish they had them when my daughter was little. Boys are so hard to get clothes for especially infants all the clothes just look goofy and there is one boy outfit for every 50 girl outfits.

    ^^^
and all the girls' outfits are fucking pink and cheesy and princessy. it's just as hard to track down non-lame girls' clothing as it is boys'.
i found this out over the past couple of years when a lot of people i know started having behbehs.

I like the Cookie Monster and other Sesame Street outfits, but I'm old school. I don't care for little kids wearing "rockstar" t-shirts. Just not my cuppa.
I like the animal ones a bit better, although I'd put them on a little girl first.
