Default Which dress should Michelle Obama wear to the inauguration?

WWD featured dresses from designers who would love to clothe her for the event.

I love the Lacroix drawings but she'll go with an American designer.

You can see all the designs HERE

My vote is for the red Monique Lhuillier!

    The Betsy Johnson is shiteous

And I'd love to see here wear this at the ceremony

I think Michelle would look fantastic in the Monique Lhuillier gown.

I like the Badgley Mischka or the Karl Lagerfeld suit for the ceremony.

I looked at them all and the Monique L. is the showstopper for me.

These designers looked like they are banking on Mrs. O to have nice shoulders and slim hips. Does she?

I don't like the red gown for her. It's too frou-frou. I'd rather see something more streamlined---smart and sexy.

That red dress will look stunning with her gorgeous skin and the cut and frou-frou will balance her out. She is a bit, ahem, pearshaped and has a very high waist which she needs to stop accentuating with those big belts.

That snappy white suit is very Jackie O retro and would also look great for the inauguration ceremony itself.

A*O, ITA with your assessment. I like the red gown and any of the more princess shirted ones. Shes got too much caboose to wear any of those sheath/mermaid skirts.
