Abbey Lee Kershaw, a 19-year-old Australian, passed out as she stepped off the catwalk.
She was carried backstage and revived, with her agent blaming McQueen's "incredibly tight" brown leather bustier for the fainting spell.
"As she was coming off the catwalk she began to take tiny steps as she felt she was going to faint and she did just as she came off," said Kathy Ward of Chic Models.
"The corset was incredibly tight but she was absolutely fine afterwards and even continued to appear at more shows."
Kershaw was not well enough to take part in the show finale but was able to leave "on her own legs", according to fellow models who pointed out that she had been up since 5am and was "fatigued".
McQueen's constricting clothes caused consternation among some of the assembled fashionistas.
The Wall Street Journal noted that many outfits "were so body-hugging that models' bones protruded through the clothes awkwardly, causing some discussion in the audience".
The McQueen show took place in a former morgue on a catwalk decorated with stuffed wild animals, including tigers, an elephant and a polar bear.
The British designer took Darwin's theory of evolution as inspiration for the collection, and emerged at the end of the show dressed in a rabbit suit.
Kershaw is one of several models to taking a tumble in recent days - Milan Fashion Week saw two girls fall on the catwalk during the Prada show as they struggled to walk in skyscraper heels.
