Default Trend alert: Ankle skimming pants

Scenario: It's cold, raining, and you don't know what to wear. A dress proves to be too flimsy and wearing pants would leave you soaked and muddy all day long. Believe me, I know what it's like to sit around in wet hems. I present to you ankle skimming pants. Wear these sleek and polished pants with heels or some super cute flats. They just make sense.

I have always hated those pants. They make my feet look even bigger, lol.

I was just about to say the same. I'll stick with the straight legged pants, as I don't have sticks for legs. But even if I did, I don't think those would add enough of an illusion of "shape" for me to bother.

I have short legs, those things would make me look dumpier than necessary.

Those would look so unflattering on anyone other than Heidi Klum. Or anyone without a two inch gap between their thighs.

Exactly! You have to have long legs about 2% body fat.

I'd hate them even on Heidi Klum.

I don't like that ankle-skinning length. It just looks like pants that are too short (or capris that are too long).

I've never really liked the ankle length pants, they just remind me of flood pants. The first picture is not so bad though - right choice of shoes. The rest, especially with boots just look like flood pants to me.

I have those Urban Outfitters sateen ankle pants in lavender.. of course they look cute on the model, but they look horrible on me. Lesson learned.
