Default Would you wear a tiara?

Fergie performed in Atlantic City last night, and part of her stage getup included a sparkly tiara. Seems like the only people who pull these off are princesses and brides, but with New Year's Eve just a day away, I'm wondering if this might be one other time when tiaras work. Would you wear one in your hair, or is it too costumey?

Fergie looks so fug. I wouldn't wear one.

Doesn't she call herself the Dutchess, or that was her album name or something? Maybe that's why she wore it. I wouldn't wear one. I think thinking of yourself as a princess is ok only if you are 5 and under.

Oh boy, here's an embarassing "yes".

Tomorrow my sisters and I are buying tiaras to wear for New Year's Eve. We're quite a bit older than the 5 year old little girl who would look sweet in one......

We just decided that we've never had the opportunity to wear one, and have always wanted to, so we will, in the safety and privacy of our own little "New Year's Eve" party. One sister will get hilariously drunk, and we expect her to keep hers on the longest. It will probably be hanging crooked down on her forehead, and I'll get a picture! The other sister will no doubt add hers to her "dirty costume box". Mine will go into my halloween costume collection.

It will all be in good fun.

It's too costumey. If you're a princess or a bride, or going for the costumey look on a birthday, eh, lots of people do that and I wouldn't think anything of it. Otherwise it looks silly, tacky and annoying. Like Fergie here.

I think it looks lame. If you're wearing it seriously, that is.

Tiara with a button down shirt and tie? What made her think that was a good idea?

I think Camilla looks quite good in that pic. I know everyone hates her For What She Did to St Diana but for a 50something woman I can't see why people think she's so hideous. No wait, she hasn't had a thousand facelifts and has, SHOCK, some lines and wrinkles. Ew gross.

I agree Camilla is a good looking broad. I do think she could lose the feathered hair, tho.

I am not talking about the wrinkles, she looks like a horse.
