Mooms, did you know Opals are supposed to be unlucky for everyone not born in October?

My birthstone is peridot but I don't like that colour much, it doesn't seem to suit me well.

I love peridot, it's such a lovely color, imo.

^^Yeah, supposedly, but it's just a superstition.
I have quite a bit of Opal jewelry and it's a very soft gem and tends to fall out of its setting a lot, though.

i love black onyx. especially art deco jewelry that combines onyx and diamonds.
i can't say i have a favourite gemstone though - i love gemstones and jewelry in general. i also love opals but my favourite are fire opals.
topaz - there are so many colours.
diamonds are great too but i like them in more modern and original jewelry. black diamonds are also lovely.
rose quarz, smoke quarz, can look amazing in jewelry, especially big chunky cocktail rings, peridot is also lovely and it's my birthstone.

Tanzanite, opal, aquamarine, smoky quartz, turquoise. It's not the monetary value that impresses me. Diamonds bore me.

hehe peridot is my birthstone too and I used to HATE it! I wanted a darker green like an emerald, true green is my favorite color. I've come around though
All I care about now is that the setting chain for anything has to be SILVER! There's just something about gold jewelry that gets me.
