Default Trends that are over, thank gawd!!

You couldn't turn your head without seeing these. Everywhere! Thank goodness they are out of style. But you do see them occasionally.

    Metallic handbags

Shorts with names on the butt
(this one is a bit disturbing)

    Leggings aka footless tights

    Knock-offs...so close

Gypsy Skirt aka The Old Navy skirt in the commercial

These are still around, please go away!

Not just shorts, I saw someone wearing sweat pants that had a name on the back, makes your butt look big and saggy. And I hate sweat pants in general esp on women, they look so sloppy like they should be your PJ .

I agree with all of the above except for the skirt. I like those Gypsie skirts.

If you think it's crazy, you ain't seen a thing. Just wait until we're goin down in flames.

I saw a girl wearing sweatpants with the word 'USED' stamped all over her ass. I find it hard to believe anyone could have missed the implication.

    I'm glad pointy-toed shoes are over-HATE them!

I saw a girl violating almost all of these the other day. First off, she was rocking some sweatpants....with a giant silver stretchy belt over them. Second she had the belt and those hideous shoes.....third she had the giant sunglasses AND the metallic handbag.

How about the ones with Juicy across the ass. It may be the brand, but I don't appreciate the implication.

Are Gaucho pants out yet? If not, they should be because they look awful.

I like gypsy skirts too. I was in Europe, it was on every on every child, mother, and grandma.

I've seen people wear a certain brand logo on every accesory (matching hat, belt, purse, and shoes) thats a bit overboard.

Sequined purses with matching sequined flip flops.

    Please make them go away.

I'm not giving up the gypsy skirts.

Unfortunately I think you may be indulging in wishful thinking in saying that metallic bags are going away. I think that they SHOULD go away but is seems that every designer is churning out several for the upcoming seasons. Dior even has one for men! It might go with those leggings mentioned in another thread. They must die.

^^OK...I can't imagine my boyfriend carrying a metallic Dior bag!! The thought of it alone gives me quite a good chuckle!!

I want the tight jeans (tight at the ankles) to go away!!

A lot of folks can look decent in gypsy skirts, so I would have no trouble with this trend returning.

As far as metallic bags go, I wanted to like them, but I was afraid carrying one of those gaudy items would make me look like a hooker.

I don't see how anyone beyond the age of 18 can wear those footless tights without looking ridiculous. The Fashion Powers That Be
tried to shove that abomination down our throats, but fortunately we resisted.
