I so don't understand the hype of Uggs!.
My grandma used to crochet those kind and we had a shoemaker fitting them with soles... I so hated them even as a child...
....Maybe comfy, definitely ugly and NOT best option for HAPPY FEEET.

Oh man - I had a gorgeous pair of black and white 'pony skin' uggs but I never wore them because the weather here is never cold enough (which is ironic considering Uggs are an Aussie invention) and I hate, hate, overheated feet. So I gave them to my Canadian sister and she lurves them.
Those knitted things are an abomination no matter what the colour.

And here I was, thinking that Uggs couldn't get any uglier. Wishful thinking, I guess. Those look absolutely HIDEOUS!

Appearance aside, those aren't practical here because snow would stick to them and one's feet would get heavier and heavier while walking.

They are great for walking around the house, they're the worst 'fashion' item ever. Plus they look ridiculous on alot of people; but they wear them anyway because its the 'fashion'.

I don't understand any footwear that make your feet look like they belong to a Clydesdale horse.

Firstly I'll preface this by saying I'm Canadian which means pretty cold/harsh winters. They were trying to sell these boots in a high end store that I went into in the summer time. I looked at them out of pure fascination for how hideous they are. The salesgirl said, oh this is going to definately be the hot new thing for winter. You should definately pick up a pair before they disappear. While I'm staring at these abominations, two teenie bopper types come in and HARASS their mothers to buy them these terrible boots. People will buy anything that is branded as 'the new cool thing'.
And as well, I own regular uggs bc they're v warm and I wear them under pants so they're not obtrusive at all. I don't know, I find mine tolerable though not the cutest thing ever but these knit jobs are just terrible.
