Default If You Could Wear Just One Designer...

And had the size 4 figure, natch

Daywear - probably Chanel. There's something about those suits and pearls.
Evening - Valentino, probably his red.
    Casual - Ralph Lauren preppy.
    Shoes - Bally
    Handbag - Gucci

I think our taste is probably similar A*O

    Daywear- MaxMara
Evening- Valentino, but from Mr Valentino and not the new designers. I'd like the odd vintage Balenciaga thrown in too, but again only from Mr Balenciaga
    Casual- Ralph
Shoes- jimmy choo, ysl and louboutin (I have to have more than one for shoes, 'cause SHOES!)
    Bags- Bottega

ETA: I actually do stick mainly to a handful of labels IRL. Not intentionally, but my taste just seems to be pretty consistent. I wear a lot of Elie Tahari (not the licensed Tahari stuff made by other companies though), Theory and J Crew. My bags and shoes come from all different labels,. but jimmy choo is probably the shoe designer I have the most of in my closet.

So many to pick from! I agree with Valentino with evening wear, but I got to put some Dior there somewhere. I like the classics. I went to this website and I can't believe the people they put on there who do not belong!!!http://www.biography.com/people/grou...hion-designers

Daywear - Something by Edith Head, ideally.
    Evening - Elie Saab.
    Casual - Reformation
Shoes - I'm not a big shoe lover, so probably Ralph Lauren, since I've mostly been getting his shoes when needed lately.
Handbag - Michael Kors. Jk! I don't know many handbag labels, I'm really one of the rare women who have some aversion to spending money on shoes and handbags (maybe I ignore them since they're always out of my price range, which is like $25). Dooney + Bourke, they make some simple, unadorned, and well-structured bags that I like.

Edit: Darthsithbunny's post just reminded me about classic Dior! That could be my go-to evening wear alternately.

handbag - balenciaga. i like the bottega but they look like i would macerate them in one outing.

Oh, this makes me sad. I need a make-over. All I wear is J. Crew, Gap, Ralph Lauren, etc.

My handbags tend to be Marc Jacobs or Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Way back in the day, my favorite shoes used to be Via Spiga for work. I also loved the boots.

The nicest evening wear I ever had was a dress by Diane Von Furstenberg

hmmmm this is a tough one because i love different brands for different items of clothing.

daywear: this is the hardest category. definitely rachel comey for beautiful, luxurious and most importantly, comfortable basics. ditto APC. citizens of humanity for jeans. don't think i could ever do without Cos and zara though, so much of my closet is from there.

evening wear: prada and miu miu.

shoes: we said this could be more than one, right? rachel comey. dieppa restrepo. robert clergerie. APC. lanvin. prada. miu miu.

handbags: prada and miu miu. clare vivier. givenchy. marni. chloe. oh, and i'd like at least a few hermès kelly bags, in different colours

glasses: gucci and tom ford. and karen walker for sunglasses.

socks and tights: falke. this is the one category where i can narrow it down to one brand and i didn't even have to think twice. they make the best socks, ankles and stockings, ever.

I'm fickle, there's shit I like and don't like from all designers. I like and hate shit from all houses.

Hate Louie Vitton bags and anything with the LV logo (or any name) stamped all over it.

I could live very comfortably mostly in Ralph Lauren.

Oooh, I forgot Citizens of Humanity. I have a gazillion pairs of those jeans. Love them. I also really like Paige. Those are the only jeans I wear. I have a couple odd pairs of other brands, but those are my go to brands.

I used to love Se7en's. They made a pair about 15 years ago that were 100% cotton. I wore those until they got holes.
