What designer bags are you coveting at the moment?

I'm a big Coach fan. I usually get one bag a year for Mother's Day. The one I have now is a brown faux-embossed croc leather bag with brass hardware. A few weeks ago, I dropped it on my cement//brick front steps and it now has a few noticeable scratches. I was going to skip this year because I got my Mother's Day present early this year (something other than a bag). For the past few years, Coach has been really hit or miss with me. I found a bag that I really like that has "lace" cutouts in the leather, but the one I want is metallic gold and I've never had one so .... gold. I still have to go see it in person, but wanted to see if I could get some opinions. Is it too gaudy? Like another bag?

It's the second one on the list. I really, really like the Parchment (white) in the same style, but since I carry these bags for at least a year, I could see it getting really dirty and not go with many things in the fall and winter. Plus, I'm not a fan of silver hardware, and the gold one has brass hardware.

I *almost* bought a Michael Kors (faux embossed) python leather bag at TJ Maxx of all places (I NEVER get lucky there even though a few of my friends have) but my husband talked me out of it because he thought it was too big and the handles were way too long.

I'm dying for a Coach dove gray crossbody Kristin bag. It's just plain leather - no logos. No offense to anyone who does, but I don't care for logos and really only love high end bags because of the quality of the materials. I can't afford super high end like Hermès or anything like that, though.

i've been coveting a brown leather tote for a while now and clare vivier's la tropézienne is the one that comes closest to what i want. i'm a whore for totes.

i also quite love the orla kiely foldover hobo, which also comes with a detachable long shoulder strap so you can wear it messenger style.

as for dream bags of the unattainable kind, i covet the hermès kelly. want.
i'd love to be stinking rich and have it in at least 10 different colours and leathers.

Well, you gotta let her out once in a while! I love red bags so much! I carry one everyday. I figure if I just whore it up with the purse, I'll behave pretty good in every other aspect!
