Rachel Bilson unveils first shoe collection and new fashion website

Rachel Bilson has become something of a style icon since shooting to fame on the The O.C.
The 30-year-old actress is permanent fixture at Fashion Week and recently starred in a Magnum advert directed by Karl Lagerfeld.
So it was only a matter of time before time before she launched her own fashion range.

Rachel is also launching ShoeMint.com on Friday, a fashion website where her shoe designs will be sold for an affordable $79.98.
She joins the likes of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Kate Bosworth and Jessica Simpson, who have all worked with BeachMint.com to create their own 'Mint'.
The Hart of Dixie star also stars in the campaign for the collaboration with Steve Madden and her stylist Nicole Chavez .
The actress will also share styling tips on the members-only site
The shoes will be made from real leather and suede and will range from size 5-11.
They include leopard-print and purple suede wedges.
Bilson will also be working with the site to offer up personal styling tips and behind-the-scenes access to show the shoe-making and design in progress.

Rachel said: 'As a designer, Iím always exploring new mediums and footwear is a category Iíve always been very passionate about.
'More and more, people are shopping for shoes online and with BeachMint, I have the opportunity to design not just the shoes, but the full experience for our customers, which feels more personal and rewarding for me.'
