Do you have tips to repair scratches in leather shoes?

I am infuriated!

I am not able to wear shoes more than three times without scratching the damn tip.
Today I wore new shoes that I LOVE and of course I tripped and scratched off the leather on the tip. They are black smooth leather shoes.
Did any of you try those cremes that are supposed to fix scratches?
That's why I prefer suede shoes. Suede leather can take a few accidents without being ruined.

I always do that too. Just use some black leather polish and polish it up real good and buff it.

I usualy rub the scratch with my finger and it will go away.

I bought leather repair creme which worked pretty well. It's like black shoe polish but it works better, IMO. It didn't just color the scratch black but it made the scratch appear less deep, too.

Felt tip marker then shoe polish on top.

In fact I used this technique for a pair of boots just yesterday.....

I fixed my black wooden stairs with a sharpie because my chinchillas gnawed the wood off. It's a bit shiny so I am afraid to use it on my shoes

Suede is way more high maintenance than leather. Repair scratches with sharpie or even mascara.

Try noticing the way you walk too - why are you scraping up shoes when you've only worn them a couple of times? I notice about how I walk that I have a tendency to scuffle along; when I find myself doing it, I stop.

They are flat shoes...If I can't walk in flat shoes I have to go barefoot ^^.
