Diane von Furstenberg designs Ohio hospital gowns

Diane von Furstenburg’s designed new hospital gowns for a clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
It’s not quite the news you expect to hear on the eve of New York Fashion Week, especially from a woman whose side projects have included designing suites for Claridge’s in London or leading New York’s fashion industry through a recession.
But the designer met the CEO of the clinic at a medical conference in Idaho (also surprising?) and though they were three years deep into a gown re-design, they asked for Diane’s help.
Now their patients get to wear wrap style gowns covered in DvF‘s signature vintage prints incorporating the clinic’s logo.

Hospital gowns come in 2 sizes ~ too big & too small! They never fit anyone.
