i really like shopping at ross when i have patience. otherwise, i tend to just get agitated in there, because it always seems so messy & disorganized.

ROSS is for fatties and cheap whores. I only buy my clothes in Europe. *hair toss and flick of a perfectly tanned, manicured finger*

i'm always impressed by people who can dig through everything at ross/marshall's, etc. and come out with awesome finds. i get too overwhelmed when i walk in to the store and see those mile long racks. i usually run through the shoes and get out.

Our Ross stores down here aren't all jumbled up or anything. I love Ross. I can get five outfits for like twenty or thirty dollars. I find the TJ Maxx stores to be like what y'all described. Very unorganized, have to dig through everything to find ONE thing, and they're not as inexpensive, or have as nice of things as Ross.

    Ross rocks!

Urgh! I've tried Ross when I was in LA last time & HATED it - and I'm a TK/J Maxx shopper.... it was all just so... synthetic!

    TJMaxx & Marshall's devotee here.

I only visited Ross twice, and really didn't care for it, long runs that were only half full of clothing. I have cousins who swear by Ross though, so maybe some stores are nicer.

Our Ross store is Ghetto (with a capital G, making it ultra Ghetto).

The place is a total mess, there are always screaming kids with silver teeth and snotty noses running around and their mom's don't even give a shit.

    I prefer Marshalls, hands down.

Oh this is so MY thread! I <3 Ross. It is the greatest store to ever exist. Practically everything I own is from Ross (housewares and clothing). I buy CUTE specialty size bras for only $5.99 when they would cost $30-50 any where else. The shoes are almost always between $14-18 and they have brands like Steve Madden and Chinese Laundry. Same goes for purses, which are usually around $20.

And I don't understand why people find it hard to shop there. It is all separated by category and then by size. All you have to do is find your section and go through each piece to find the ones you like. I find it way easier than wandering around aimlessly at a department store looking for black pants only to discover that they have them scattered throughout the entire store. And once you do find something you like at a Department store how annoying is it that they may not have it in your size?! I hate that.

True story...one time I was wondering around Macys (not really shopping for anything in particular, just browsing) and I saw a purse that was $120. I went over to Ross immediately afterwards (they are across the street from one another) and found the EXACT SAME purse for $25. It was an ugly purse so I didn't buy it. But that just proves the power of Ross.

If I was a celebrity, I would totally endorse Ross.
