Default H&M stepping out with Jimmy Choo stilettos this November

H&M stores in Metro Vancouver will be strapping on some Jimmy Choos this November.

H&M is strapping on some Jimmy Choos this November with a collaboration that will bring the British stilettos into 200 of the clothing retailers' stores.
H&M would not specify whether the Vancouver and Coquitlam stores would feature the collection, however, saying only that it will be in major city stores worldwide.
With their tall heels and strappy designs, Jimmy Choo shoes epitomize red-carpet glamour and have been worn by Oscar winners such as Halle Berry, Cate Blanchett and Hilary Swank.
Renowned for working with designers like Stella McCartney, Karl Lagerfeld and Rei Kawakubo, H&M is collaborating with a shoe and bag designer for the first time.
Jimmy Choo is extending its range to include women's clothing to go with the fabulous shoes. The collection also includes men's shoes, bags and accessories.
"We adore Jimmy Choo's shoes and bags," said Margareta van den Bosch, H&M's creative adviser. "They are glamorous and sexy and add instant style to the simplest of outfits. I like the way we have worked with clothes to accessorize the shoes and bags rather than the other way around."
In Toronto, H&M spokesperson Karen Richter said the company thinks customers will appreciate the Jimmy Choo collection.
"It's fantastic to be able to offer our customers designer pieces like this at such a great price. This collection is very glamourous, so it perfectly complements H&M's party trends."

if it's anything like their other designer collections, you have to be there in the morning when the stores open to even have a chance at grabbing anything.
i faced the mobs to get my hands on the karl lagerfeld, stella mccartney and comme des garçons stuff.

it is. but for the past few years, once a year or so, they have a famous designer create a collection. the prices are a bit higher than usual h&m stuff but the quality is better too. not as good as the actual designer stuff but a really great way to get designer stuff for a fraction of the price. they're usually really good too.

Oh, I see. I wish we had an H&M here. There's not even one in the state of NC. We just got an Anthropologie though. I can't shop at Forever 21, it's juniors stuff so it's a bit young, and the quality is cheap. Throwaway clothes.
