I mean I get that leggings are stretchy and comfortable and make you feel like you can wear a large as opposed to a size 18 pant...but IT DOESN'T MAKE IT OK.
I love leggings-I get to wear shorts and minis in winter and not worry about the cold/accidental exposure.

Leggings as pants need to die though.

Leggings and shorts, wtf are you serious? No. Shorts and mini skirts are for warm weather. And if you're afraid of exposure don't wear them. People like you provide me with endless amounts of personal entertainment.

It never gets really cold in Greece, and I've got the legs to pull them off, so I think I'll keep wearing them.

But thanks for your tactful input, stranger on the Internet. I'm sure I would personally be very impressed with your sartorial choices.

all trends are bad when worn by people who can't pull them off. and then some people have the body and personal style to pull off stuff that mere mortals would look retarded in.
i know people who can pull off dress shorts, leggings, rompers, neon, etc.
other things i don't understand why people hate because when done right, i think they can look awesome. like opaque black tights with a cute dress. or said opaque black tights with open toe shoes.
there aren't any hard and fast rules in fashion. despite what a lot of people seem to think.

the problem isn't particular trends, it's the fact that most people are absolutely clueless.

except for skinny cargo pants (or satin cargo pants - TACKY), anything worn on jersey shore, ed hardy and kate gosselin's possum haircut.

I wouldn't be claiming entertainment via sarcasm unless you can pick it up yourself.

The Justin Beever hair cut needs to die. And also glitter lipstick.
