Rita Hayworth and Ava Gardner were stunning! Ahh, to be that gorgeous...

I think Grace Kelly was overrated. Yes, she was elegant and had almost perfectly symmetrical features, but I just find her face very uninteresting.

I will never understand the hype behind Hepburn, she was so boring and plain, just another girl next door type. She was the only woman in the Glamour Days that didn't have a nice figure, all the rest of them had curves in all the right places.

Which Hepburn? Audrey or Katharine? Just curious, that's all.

But her features were so exquisitely and extremely symmetrical, it's fascinating how it all culminated so beautifully. Like a work of art. I could see how that might be bland to some, but it's breath-taking to me.

Now Ava had some mischievous spark in her eyes to counter that for sure! She looks like an infinitely interesting lady and a great drinking pal. All drama, that one.

^ In no way do I think she was ugly. She was quite pretty actually. I just didn't find her all that captivating, and I don't get the 'most beautiful woman in hollywood ever!' thing I've heard some people describe her as.

I actually found a website a while back that had photos of her as a baby and as a schoolgirl. It was interesting to see what she looked like at those periods in her life, but I can't find the site anywhere anymore. It's like it just disappeared.
