Mingus is beautiful. I don't like that name either. It reminds me of minge or minger.

It reminds me of Jade Goody's verrucagate, 'am I minging?'.

i love the name mingus. while it's true that in most cases, i think it's kinda dumb and pretentious to name your kid after a musician, for some reason mingus doesn't bother me. maybe because it's a jazz musician and not a kid named 'lennon' or 'jagger' or something...

the kid is gorgeous, got the best of both parents' looks.

He will be the lead singer in my boy band. That face is like an angel dipped in heaven.

well, at least he was named after a pretty damned good musician. mingus reedus does give me the giggles, though; the alliteration is silly sounding.

Who are these people?

That's a beautiful child but his name is awful. When we were kids we called penises (peni??) "dinguses" which is much too close to Mingus.

Dad is an actor that never quite made it big but I fell madly in love with him in Boodnock Saints and other movies. Mom is Helena Christensen.

I'd say their kid is genetically blessed but that name is still stupid because of the -us endings. But Lucien Reedus sounds nice, actually.

Well, he could have named him Lingus, then he would have joined the Army and made the rank of colonel.
