OMG, I would so hit it (and I would use that mental image of Valentino in order to last longer).

I thought you're supposed to get embalmed AFTER death. She looks good, though.

I love the dress except the sheer bottom. It fits her perfectly.

You guys, the one time I don't flip my lid over a sheer dress! Add another to your minority. I legitimately run out of ways to describe my loathing of sheer black curtain dresses, so I thought I'd skip it this time around and was commenting only on what I saw from the neck up. I think her face looks nice/better (than lately?), and am still happy she cut some of her hair off, because it was seriously some Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman shit there for a while.

ETA - lol @ puta at Don Corleone's funeral. The dress is seriously bad and I don't even think it's all that gothy, just sheer and black.

Her hair is awful as is the dress and that fucking choker. Don't get the hype with this one.

She's a beautiful woman, but I see the Sofia Loren comparison. Between the two of them, it makes me think it's an Italian thing, to push the sexy merry widow role once you're past your prime. It's like an attempt to grow old gracefully while retaining a "more appropriate" version of their sexpot image.

i agree with a lot of what you're saying, but i don't think she's past her prime. she can look beautiful without showing her granny underpants.

I absolutely agree she's not past her prime. But by the unforgiving, ridiculous Hollywood standards, she is. Definitely no longer in ingenue leagues.

And I also saw the underwear and chose to block out the fact that it's probably meant to look like we're getting a look at her vag.

I don't think it's a bad thing to look like Sophia Loren. Not that she does to me.
