I thought she was so adorable, humble and deserving of the award. (I haven't even watched her movie, but I loved the way she respected the award and was just all to pieces.)
I thought she looked stunning. I didn't even know who she was, and when I saw her on tv I was like, "wow!" I agree that her dress and makeup looked much better on tv (and probably in person) than they do in photographs.

Young(ish) French actresses usually receive their awards bumbling with emotion...it's the thing to do to display your extreme sensitivity, aka your highly artistic side. In short, it's a usual French shtick, they may be very happy but they are actresses too...

Really? I liked the white glitter on her eyelids! On her it looked good I thought.
Btw, I found out that it's Jean-Paul Gaultier that has been responsible for the fish scale dresses she's been wearing. Boo, JPG. Me no like the fish scale effect.
But she did have a beautiful silhouette in the dress.
