Not in any reservation I've ever been to. But for that matter, I've never seen a "novelty shop" on any reservation, either.

    no it's not.
i mean, you agree that blackface is racist and offensive, right? but do you think the wayans brothers dressing up in 'whiteface' in white chicks is equally racist and offensive? of course not. the reason? history.

Yes, it's offensive. Not equally, but offensive. And, yes, it's a double standard to think you can mock one race, but not another.

Fine that you are fair enough to consider both to equally offensive. That does not change history. Which is why the Wayans can get absolutely shitty comedy movie made and distributed...even asses in seats to see it...where they are dressed in whiteface.

But if you're going to have anything close to a white person in blackface, it better be in proper context and you'd better not fuck it up. And even if done well, you still need to be prepared that it will be considered controversial.

I don't like H&M, I only buy basic stuff for my daughter from them. After wearing them a couple of times they look terrible. But please, at this rate, soon we won't be able to dress without offending somebody.

^I would have not known. I would have just bought it because it is simple, and colors.
