I have never really cared for her. I thought her style was kind of boring 50s conservative, and she seemed like a hypocrite. As other posters have noted, she wasn't quite the Goody Two-shoes she was thought to be.

^ I'm with you Edie. My feelings exactly. For some reason, I think Grace Kelly was really overrated. I don't think she was THAT pretty. She had a simple, plain face. Nothing really special and I hated her speaking voice--so fake. For being only 51 or 52 when she died, she also aged horribly. She was overweight and extremely weathered looking for being so young. She looked like a matronly grandma since her late 30's---no sexiness or pizzaz to her whatsoever. The prettiest she ever looked was when she was dating Prince Rainier and basically the day of their wedding. After that, she went downhill. she had kids and never really got her looks back. She got frumpy and old FAST.

To my eyes, Grace Kelly was a breathtaking beauty. It was all on the surface, though. She had nowhere near the charm of Audrey Hepburn, and was not a good actress.

Yes, physically perfect, yet lacking warmth. Audrey's imperfections
(the insanely full eyebrows for instance) were balanced by her
warm smile and persona.
