^^ Just cuz you don't like the clothes they wear don't mean they have no fashion sense.

To me, they have no fashion sense. That is my opinion.

Doesn't the Bible say something about this -- "When the two manless
women come together in commerce..."
It's in Revelations, people!

But, back to the point... I think there's a market out there to be tapped by DK and EdeG. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they start a new trend. Alicia Keys is already on board! Besides, there really is something kinda sexy about a woman in men's clothes...

i like diane keaton's style. it suits her, she's got a good eye for cut and line, and she doesn't give a crap about trends. i don't see what's masculine about it. i don't care for frilly girly crap and i mostly wear greys and blacks but that can be feminine and sexy too.
i agree, there's definitely something sexy about women wearing men's clothing and tailoring them to suit their bodies. i love tweeds and trousers inspired by men's wear. if you're a feminine woman and know how to wear those with sexy heels and the right accessories, it is definitely feminine, in a more subtle way than cleavage and mini skirts

Re: Diane Keaton and Ellen DeGeneres want to start a clothing line together
I think they dress fine. Even on Diane Keaton's worst day she might look unusual, but she still looks better than most other "actors" and "singers" and random celebs do most of the time. And I don't see that they are necessarily wearing "Men's Clothes." They wear pants, a shirt, and a jacket. <-- This is "manly?" What is year is this??
They look great and can still be feminine. A zoot suit would be one thing, but clothes tailored to fit the curves of a body is another. Dresses don't always show off womanly curves (think muumuu) and you don't need to have tits hanging out or a skirt barely covering your butt to be a woman.

EXACTLY!! i hate it, they get a teensy bit well known and out comes the (crappy) clothing line, which by the way they didnt design they just nodded at the pictures they liked when the proper designer showed them it .who the hell buys all this stuff??

Re: Diane Keaton and Ellen DeGeneres want to start a clothing line together
^^ I'd agree if we were talking about young stars, but these bitches are grown ass women! I believe Keaton has a genuine interest, because she actually thinks about what she's gonna wear. Ellen? Who knows! I'm real, real curious, though! Can't wait to see what they come up with...

Re: Diane Keaton and Ellen DeGeneres want to start a clothing line together
There was one time I was watching Ellen's show and she was talking with the guest about how on the red carpet the people are always running after Portia wanting to know who she's wearing. She was saying how she cares about her clothes too and puts thought into it, plus it isn't like she walks into the nearest Walmart and buys the first thing she sees. She just has a more masculine style than most women. I think it's a good pairing.

Re: Diane Keaton and Ellen DeGeneres want to start a clothing line together
I love Ellen, but fashionable she is not. And Diane Keaton has even less fashion sense than Ellen. So I am not understanding this at all.

Re: Diane Keaton and Ellen DeGeneres want to start a clothing line together
Is Diane Keaton also a lesbian? If these two did make a fashion line, I think it would appeal to and be successful with 2 markets: lesbians and older women who would purchase the suits for work. I'm sure they would offer some suits that weren't as off the wall as the ones Diane usually wears, and women who like to dress conservatively and need fashionable but modest clothes for their jobs or a special occasion might like them. I know a lot of older women who don't feel comfortable showing off their legs in a skirt. I would probably never wear anything from their line because my personal taste is very feminine, but I don't think it would be entirely unsuccessful if they did go through with it.

No stranger than all kinds of gay men who design women's clothes.
