If you can see your photos then so can we. But I still don't understand what, exactly, you want us to do? What is there in the pics to comment about? "Oh wow, a celeb carrying an LV bag. Amazing." If people don't say anything then it's because there's nothing much to say.

what makes me hate the LV bags is that everyoen has one, and they aren't even leather!

If I'm gonna drop major loot, let it at LEAST be leather, and not canvas or whathave you that everyone buys....the leather bags are the nice ones...

I don't understand the purpose of buying an obvious fake. The bags aren't exactly pretty, and nearly everyone should know that it isn't a real one. It's like some weird trend for everyone to carry fake Louis Vuitton bags.

The real bags aren't exactly nice and worth the price, either. Though, the bags have gotten a little nicer looking (better color combinations and reflecting their old designs more) ironically after their popularity went down a little.

Another ditto, here, exactly. And what's up with people making prom dresses & bridesmaids dresses with fabric that looks like these ugly bags? Who the hell wants to wear a brown dress with LV's all over it?

I don't like the monogrammed LV bags, especially those hideous white things with the multi-coloured LVs which are SO tacky. But the LV so-called epi-leather bags are gorgeous, especially the red.

...I like their vernis line though.
I don't know if any of their stuff is worth the money. I unfortunately have a boston bag

but the leather is so flimsy and doesn't hold its shape...it's real though, mama bought me it for my b-day at a LV store.

LV bags are a typical example of how the industry is making fun of the rich:

They take something utterly nasty or ugly, like caviar or LV bags, make it super expensive, and have a huge laugh at all the rich idiots who go out and buy that stuff.

In order to make up for their lack of taste, they always buy the most expensive thing, thinking they are on the safe side.

I'm totally convinced of that. Or does anybody REALLY like truffles?

What I love is that my local Wal-Mart carries a knockoff of the LV signature design on some incredibly cheap make-up bags. Women with 6 teeth and no sign of showering recently snap them up like hotcakes and use them as clutches.

i agree with you about dumb rich people buying the most expensive thing - that's what nouveau riche people do, they have all the money, none of the class or breeding, or taste.

but truffles... truffles are delicious. they are gorgeous. i was a kid the first time i tried truffles on some soft eggs with my parents and i thought it tasted great, and i had no idea what they were or how much they cost.

^I like truffles too... but Louis Vuitton bags are butt ugly, and the quality is just a bad excuse. I'm sure they will take a lot of abuse and last for many years, but so does my hard plastic Samsonite beauty box, as well as any high-quality leather bag, for a fraction of the price; and both will look a hell of a lot better, too. I agree with Chilly Willy; the price is the only thing that makes these bags even remotely attractive, and they are grossly overpriced.

A friend of a friend of mine had rather a funny theory about this; that there's a kind of ugly/expensive ratio that determines how upper crust some things are - the uglier and the more expensive, the more upper-classy it is. He wrote a hugely entertaining blog post about it, compared a few styles and items and arrived at the conclusion that the quilted Barbour coat is the penultimate upper-class attribute; there are more expensive garments, sure, but it's so frightfully frumpy (while still being practical, comfortable and durable) that only very rich and/or titled old ladies can pull them off. The Queen of England wears them, of course.
