Looking at the pics again, I think her clothes reflect her self-consciousness about her weight more than her actual weight. As in, her trying to hide weight gain under huge baggy clothes just makes her look bigger than she might actually be.

I think the clothes are making her look bigger than she is. I think she needs to just stay somewhere in the middle and she would be happier.

Its the clothes, she needs to ditch the sweatpants and sweatshirt and she would not stand out . Even the boots, everything she has on makes her look heavier.
