Lavender is such a pretty color; it's a wonder that more celebs don't wear it. Chloë Sevigny knows what's up. . . . she chose a lavender Narciso Rodriguez tie dress for the premiere of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly back in November. PYT Amanda Bynes wore the same dress to the 2008 Critics' Choice Awards last night. Both have a slick black clutch, but Chloë opted for messy hair and bright red lips.

Sorry, but they both look awful to me. That's a very unflattering dress and I think purple looks better on brunettes (mostly). Looks like something from a cheap '80s movie. Both their hair looks a mess.

The face is unfortunate in that pic and I'm not that crazy about red lipstic but the dress looks a lot better on Chloe's body. And that Amanda chick is boring, I agree with Sputnik there.
