That could be a decent dress, but the colors are all wrong for Ali.

the top part is ok (i like the black bits) but i hate the frilly skirt. with such a busy pattern you need clean lines.

No, it reminds me of over-patterned cheapo dresses they sell at Walmart.

It's like Laura Ashley on meth. The neckline makes her look extra titless too.

The top part would look good as a shirt worn with jeans.

It hits all the wrong parts of her body. She couldn't have picked a worse design for her shape. Worse, it's wearing her because there's too much fabric. A bigger bodied person could work it.
Her body needs curves and structuring, but this dress highlights nothing of what she has. No lining or support in the boobs, so that's bad underwear choices on her part though I think the dress should help a bit.
The neck line highlights the sternum in an ugly way that makes her look formless and also shows unevenness in her skin tone. Everyone has that unevenness for the most part, but why highlight that?
The black belt should show off her waist and hips, but instead - oddly - it buries them in the fabric and manages to shorten her legs.

The fabric looks like it made out of one of the those pictures where if you stare at it long enough a 3D image pops out.

This girl needs a stylist really bad. She's got a fabulous figure for fashion, long and thin, she could really wear almost anything. But she keeps choosing things that are just butt-ugly and wouldn't flatter anybody. She's fighting the hot.

The pattern is really busy, but it looks like it would be comfortable to wear.
